When thinking about time, it seems like it is often viewed in various ways. Time is: precious, wasted, tragic, quick, slow…
Many people express that they want to “make the most of their time,” and that is quite a big feat when you think about all the minutes that make up a day.
One of my favorite movies is About Time. I was initially drawn to it because the trailer made it seem like it was mostly about a love story (I am a sucker for those movies). While a love story is a major part of the plot, the message of the movie is about so much more than just a couple falling in love.
One of my favorite quotes from the movie is when Tim says, “We’re all traveling through time together, every day of our lives. All we can do is do our best to relish this remarkable ride.”
Relish the Ride
When you reflect on all of the small moments that make up your day, how are you making the most of them? Sure, we have big and memorable life moments, but what about those smaller less significant happenings that take up our time on a day to day basis? Collectively, they make up a large portion of our lives.
We are all blessed with the time that we are given. How are you relishing this remarkable ride?
